Produce is the most important part of the avocado salad.
But even with that, avocado salad is not perfect.
Here’s how to make the perfect avocado, or any salad, and make it delicious.
1.
Remove the seeds and skins from the ripe avocado, then rinse them in cold water.
You can also peel and cut them off, if you want.
You want them to be in a liquid state.
So you want them pretty crisp and juicy, but not mushy.
2.
Place the avocado in a large bowl and mix it up with your hands.
I like to put it in the fridge to let it soak, then cut it into bite-sized pieces.
3.
Put the avocado on a plate, add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and toss to coat the avocado.
4.
Spread some of the olive oil over the avocado, and toss it around until the avocado is covered.
You’ll want to keep it a bit moist.
5.
Then pour some of your remaining olive oil on top of the salad, adding a couple more tablespoons of oil, and flip the avocado over.
This is the final step.
6.
Add your lemon juice and a bit of salt to taste.
You don’t want to overdo it.
This will make your salad taste better.
7.
Pour some more olive oil onto the avocado and toss in the remaining olive or lemon juice.
You might want to flip it over, so that you have more oil on the avocado to coat it.
You could also add some of this lemon juice to the salad if you don’t have lemon juice on hand.
8.
Serve immediately.
It tastes great on it’s own, or it could be served as a dip with a salad dressing.
9.
The avocado salad isn’t quite as sweet as you’d like, but it still tastes great, so enjoy!
I think that’s about it for today. Enjoy!
